In October 2000 the job exchange JOBORAMA went online and since then it has been developed to one of the most extensive job exchanges in the job market Sports, physical fitness, wellness, tourism, hotel business and catering service.
Joborama is operated by the IST-Studieninstitut GmbH. Since 1989 the IST has been offering further education in the fields of sports and management, tourism and catering industry as well as fitness, wellness and health. Besides the further education a new platform as “support” for the professional reorientation should be provided for the students. With this thought the foundation for Joborama was laid.
 
After the publication on the internet in the year 2000 there was the possibility for employers to put job offers on the internet and job seekers had the possibility of providing job applications (profiles).
The access numbers for Joborama rose steadily and in the course of this development the job market and the “wanted”-data base were adapted to the requirements. The so-called JOBALARM was established and new job offers were sent directly to the job seekers. The job applications became more detailed and the possibility was created of inserting an application photo.
In January 2003 additional domains were created besides www.joborama.de. Since that time Joborama can also be found at .com, .at, .ch, .info as well as .net
 
In January 2005 there was an extensive site relaunch. Joborama appeared in a new design and further functions for employers and job seekers.
For employers the login area was enlarged to simplify the publication and management of advertisements. For job seekers the searching functions were improved and additional information like e.g. application hints were also taken on.
 
At the beginning of 2007 the increasing numbers of visitors and Joborama requirements were accounted for and the site was completely new programmed.
Speed, data security, modern layout and functionality were of most interest with the project. Since October 2007 the new site was launched and seen in a new light.

Publishing and managing advertisements:

Employers can put online and manage job offers via Joborama in different layouts and running times. Advertisements can be edited, prolonged or updated by a mouse click. The uploading of logos and banners can be carried out directly over the login area and can be integrated directly into the ad layout.

Company profile at joborama:

Enterprises have the possibility of providing a company profile at Joborama. The profile will be shown in the area “seeking for jobs” can be linked with posted job advertisements.
But even if no advertisements were put on the internet the attention of potential applicants can called to the company.

Searching application profiles:

Over a search screen employers registered at Joborama can look through the curricula vitae and qualification profiles of applicants. The contact to the "new" employee can be established quickly and uncomplicatedly over a contact form at interest.

Enterprises have the possibility of presenting the initial page the company logo in the size of 90 x 30 pixel including linking at joborama.com.

AdBanner:

Enterprises can book AdBanners in the size of 180 x 60 pixel (animated if necessary) on the initial page of joborama.com. The banners are shown below the menu bar on the right picture edge.

NewsBox:

In the NewsBox on the initial page enterprises will have the possibility of publishing editorial contributions, including logos or graphics.

All job offers put on the internet at joborama are at the entire disposal and can be collected in a “overview”, sent per e-mail to a friend and are linked directly with the web sites of the seeking enterprises.

Over the area “My Joborama” registered users have the possibility of making use of additional services free of costs.

Jobalarm:

With jobalarm newly published job offers are directly sent to job seekers after putting them online. The dispatch is carried out after the adjustment to the job market category, employment form as well as the region or the postcode area.
